GETTING TO SALZBURG: If you haven't booked your travel yet, Rosenlund Travel Services will assist you with booking your transportation for the workshop. Rosenlund will book the least expensive airfare for travel dates arriving to Salzburg, Austria on 29 March 2009 and departing on 2 April 2009. All flights will be booked economy and the Social Drivers Group of aids2031 will be billed directly for your flight. You will not be responsible for purchasing your tickets. When contacting Rosenlund, please inform them of your name as it appears on your passport, your date of birth, your gender, and your airport of departure. ACCOMMODATION: aids2031 has arranged for and will cover your accommodation in Salzburg, Austria from Sunday, 29 March until Thursday, 2 April departure. The rooms will be at the Schloss Leopoldskron, will contain either single or double beds, and will have a private bath. For more information on the hotel, click here.
PER DIEMS: aids2031 will issue per diems checks for participants after the meeting. The per diem is intended to cover only ground transportation costs. Other funds may be distributed at to the workshop.

ABOUT SALZBURG: Salzburg is the fourth-largest city in Austria and the capital of the federal state of Salzburg. It's "Old Town", with its world famous baroque architecture, is one of the best-preserved city centers in the German-speaking world, and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. GROUND TRANSPORT: The Salzburg Global Seminar at the Schloss Leopoldskron recommends that participants for the event take a taxi from the airport or train station to the conference center. A taxi should cost around 12 Euro and take about 10 minutes. If you would like to explore the city of Salzburg during free time there is a network of buses and taxis that serve the town, but it's best understood on foot.
MEALS: All meals will be provided by aids2031 from dinner on 29 March 2009 to breakfast on 2 April 2009.
